Do I additionally have to sign up for toolani buddy?
No, this service is free to all our toolani wi-fi members. You can make worldwide calls from hotspot to hotspot without paying telephone charges or roaming charges. (Assuming you are using free hotspots.)
Can I use toolani buddy with my toolani classic account?
To make free calls to your toolani-contacts you will need an active toolani wifi account. You can find more information on toolani wifi here.
How can I call for free with toolani buddy?
If you are an existing toolani wifi customer and you are currently within one of the 200.000 available hotspots you can always call any toolani customer for free, if he's also in one of the hotspots. Please dial the number of your contact with the appropriate country code.
If I want to call someone with toolani buddy do I have to know in which country he or she currently is?
No, this is not necessary. Toolani automatically checks if your contact is online and identifies its whereabouts. Toolani will connect you eventhough you might not know where your contact might be.
Does my contact have to be a toolani wifi member?
Thanks to toolani buddy, all toolani wifi customers can call each other for free as long as they are connected to a wifi hotspot.
Will my caller ID be sent?
Yes. If you are using toolani buddy, the person you are calling will be able to see your phone number.
Do I receive a dial-up number from toolani buddy?
You won't need a dial-up number if you are using toolani buddy. You just call the number of your contact (starting with the appropriate country code) and you are connected. Please make sure you are connected to a wifi hotspot and that you have an active toolani wifi account.
How much does toolani buddy cost?
toolani buddy is an add-on of toolani wifi for which we don't charge anything. Toolani doesn't charge you for a dial-up connection nor do we charge basic fees. (Please make sure you are using a free hotspot. If you are calling from your home telephone please make sure that telephone data transmission is covered by your flat rate.)
Will I rceive a calling plan for the free toolani buddy calls?
Of course. Toolani buddy calls can be viewed at customer services. You will have details of the number you have called and the individual talk time.
