What does toolani classic offer?
toolani offers you the possibility of saving up to 90% when making calls from Germany abroad. The exact amount of saved money depends on your mobile,- and/or landline contract (rate) as well as your providers' rates for calls abroad.
Where do I find the dial-up number?
Go to customer services, select "contacts" and enter your designated number. You will instantly receive a local german number for each of these numbers, which can be used for phone calls abroad in the future.
I have several telephone numbers. Do I need several accounts?
No. You can register up to five of your mobile or landline numbers with toolani.
Does my network operator charge me when I conduct calls with toolani?
Depending on your contract, you might be charged for dialing to german landlines.
Which rates does toolani use?
You can find our rates here. Rates are reported per minute incl. VAT.
How can I top-up my credit?
You can choose from various methods of payment. Bank transfer, direct debit, credit card and Paypal. To top-up your credit select "top-up credit" at customer services.
How do I dial the dial-up number?
Enter the number without country dialcode and beginning with 0. If you have registered your mobile phone number, dial-up numbers can be sent to you via txt in order to be saved in your contacts.
How many dial-up numbers can I request?
You can request up to 50 dial up numbers. However, inactive contacts can be deleted at any time and replaced by new contacts.
Can I send txts directly from my mobile phone?
No. txts can exclusively be sent via the toolani homepage.
Can I contact the dial-up numbers from abroad?
If you call (a) dial-up number(s) from abroad your network operator will charge you for roaming.

First Steps
Registration
In order to be able to activate your number in our system and for you to be able to manage your toolani-dial-up numbers, we need your email address and the number which you will use for cheap phone calls abroad.
Requesting dial-up numbers
Add the designated international number to your toolani contacts and you will instantly receive a local dial-up number, which you will call in the future to save money when calling abroad.
As soon as you have registered your mobile phone number, dial-up numbers can be sent to your mobile for free so that you can add them to your contacts.

Charges
How does timing work?
All calls through toolani will be charged per minute from the first minute.
Will calls be charged that have not been connected?
No. Toolani only charges for calls if they have been connected successfully. In case you have reached a messaging service or voicemail you will be charged at standard rates.
Will I receive an invoice at the end of each month?
No. If you log on to costumer services you will find a list of your overall phone calls and an overview of recent charges. Furthermore, you will find a list of your previous top-ups on your invoice overview.

You will find an overview of our rates per minute here. All rates are reported per minute incl. VAT.
How can I top-up my credit?
To top-up your credit select "top-up credit" at customer services. You can choose from various methods of payment. Bank transfer, direct debit, credit card and Paypal.
What happens if I have no credit left?
If you have activated the automatic top-up credit you will automatically receive new credit as soon your credit drops below the pre-defined amount of 3 Euros. If you haven't activated this feature you will receive a message letting you know that all of your credit has been used. If you haven't got any credit left your call will be ended.
Problem solving
I have not received a confirmation email.
Please go to the homepage and log in with your details. Select "I do not want to receive any emails" at customer services. Make sure you have entered the correct email address and press send.
If I dial the dial-up number, I hear a message telling me that my phone number has not been activated.
You can only call the dial-up numbers from those numbers that you have registered with toolani. Under customer services you have the option to save up to 5 numbers (these can be mobile phone numbers and landline numbers). Please check that you have activated the caller ID on your mobile phone so we can identify your number and connect you with your desired destination.

Data privacy
According to the Telecommunications Act we save various connection data for a period of 6 months. During this time you can of course have a look at the provided information - after this period data will be deleted according to the law.
