toolani offers you the possiblility to make cheaper phone calls with your mobile or smartphone abroad as well as within your country.
Does my network charge me when calling via toolani wifi?
If you are located in a wifi network you will not be charged. However, you need to use one of the 200.000 avaiable free hotspots.
What rates does toolani wifi offer?
You will find an overview of our rates per minute and call charges here. Rates are reported per minute incl. VAT.
How can I top up my credit?
You can use various methods of payment. Transfer, direct debit, credit card and paypal. To top up your credit select "top up" at customer services.
How do I dial the designated number?
Please don not forget to enter the particular country code before dialing designated numbers.
Can I use toolani wifi for more than one phone number?
Currently you can only use the main number registered with toonlani. We are sorry.
Can I send text messages from my mobile or smartphone via toolani wifi?
No. Text messages can be sent via the toolani homepage exclusively.
Can I make phone calls abroad with toolani wifi?
Yes. You can make phone calls abroad with toolani wifi in any wifi network. Call charges per minute and all toolani rates are available worldwide.

Registration
In order to be able to activate your phone number in our system we require your email adress and the number that will be used to make cheap phone calls abroad.
Installing the toolani wifi software
toolani wifi software can be used for various devices and operating systems. Operating sytem - specific information can be found further down this page.
Charges
What kind of timing does toolani use?
All toolani calls are reported per minute from the first minute.
Am I charged for roaming when making phone calls abroad with toolani wifi?
When using toolani wifi you pay toolani rates per minute exclusively, no matter where you are. Therefore you will not be charged for any connection charges such as roaming or dial-up fees!
Does my network operator charge me additionally when making phone calls with toolani?
When using toolani wifi via a hotspot you pay toolani rates per minute exclusively, no matter where you are. Therefore you will not be charged for any connection charges such as roaming or dial-up fees!
Does toolani send me a bill at the end of each month?
No, but you can access your bill anytime at customer services. If you log on to costumer services you will find a list of your overall phone calls and an overview of recent charges. Furthermore, you will find a list of your previous top-ups at your invoice overview.
What happens after I have used up all of my toolani credit?
If you have activated the automatic top up service your credit will be reloaded as soon as your balance drops below the pre-defined amount of 3,-. If you have not activated the automatic top up service you will receive a notification via text before all of your credit is used up. As soon as your credit is fully used up, current calls will be ended.
Can I still make calls with toolani wifi eventhough i have used up my all of my credit?
Your toolani account has to present credit in order for you to make calls. The only exception might be if you still have the 1 Euro start credit available or you still have inclusive minutes.
How can I top up my credit?
You can top up your credit by selecting "top up" at customer services. We provide various methods of payment for you. Transfer, direct debit, credit card and paypal.
Problem solving
I have not received a confirmation email.
Please got to our homepage and login with your username and password. Go to costumer services and select 'email not received'. Please check that your email address is correct and then press send.
What happens if the wifi-connection interrupts?
Check the signal strength and make sure you are within the range of the wifi. The conversation will automatically be ended if you leave the hot spot. This is to make sure you are not continuing your call at higher rates.
When I call a number I am not being connected.
Please make sure you are within the signal strength of the wi-fi and that you have entered the number in the correct format. Always call the number starting with the country code.
I have tried everything but I am still not being connected.

Data privacy
According to the Telecommunications Act we save various connection data for a period of 6 months. During this time you can of course have a look at the provided information - after this period data will be deleted according to the law.

I can nott find the "toolani wifi" application in the App Store.
Try and search for "toolani Global".
I received the message "toolani wi-fi needs a SIP-account".
Please activate toolani wifi for your toolani account and enter the given toolani wifi username and password in "Settings".
When can I actually activate toolani wifi for my account?
Click on the link "more products" at costumer services. There you will find a link called "toolani wi-fi". Just click on it and follow instructions.
What do I have to enter in "Settings"?
To use toolani wifi you have to enter your toolani username and password in "Settings".
I have entered my username and password in "Settings". How can I confirm my selection?
There is no need to confim your selection. Just press the "Home Button" after you entered your information and open the toolani Global-App.
Should the caller ID of my mobile phone be visible?
No, our App automatically sends your Smartphone a number, no matter if the caller ID is set to be visible or unvisible.
What happens when the WI-FI-connection interrupts?
Check the signal strength and make sure you are within the range of the WI-FI. The conversation will automatically be terminated if you leave the hot spot. This is to make sure you are not continuing your call at higher rates.

No. Please enter the international number starting with "00" or "+" followed by the country code.
Will the person I called still see my number even if my caller ID is set to invisible?
Yes. She/he will see the number you registered as the main one.
What happens if I am being called when I am currently using toolani wifi?
Your IPhone will automatically switch to the incoming call. The toolani wifi App will be closed.
What happens if the WIFI-connection interrupts?

After entering the number, choose "Menu", which is situated left, next to the call button. Alternatively after ending your call you can select your calls list and select "Menu". Press "Add number to caontacts" in the "Menu".

Yes, please enter the national number with the country code starting "00" or "+".
What happens if the person I am calling is busy?
The message "busy" will appear on your display. In this case and for any other call a connection cannot be established.
